Mamalol's Pancit Cantoon

There’s an undying folklore among Filipinos which says… eat pancit to lengthen your life. So, we Filipinos eat pancit because it’s a common fare on the table… and not really folklore-driven.
A plate of special pansit canton can really make your fill...

Oxtail Soup

It’s not only the French or Slavs who have it… Filipinos too. The soup of the Pinoy version makes you skip other stuff on the table and you still get your fill… and your belly bursts. This is what I mean, a pick of Filipino oxtail soup

Stir-Fried Broccoli and Cauliflower

There are also different cauliflower colours and each have their own properties like the orange one which have a high level of vitamin A, purple which have high levels of anti-oxidant and green which does not differ much from the normal coloured cauliflower.
So if you want to have a very healthy meal but still taste great try this one out you will love it, trust me I love meat a lot, this one is on the top of my list in the best tasting vegetable dishes ever.

Mamalol's bangus embutido

The bangus embutido was a delightful surprise. Moist and flaky, with very balanced flavors. And thankfully, no overly fishy (malansa) taste. Truth to tell, I am not really an embutido person. But made with fish, the embutido flies in the face of convention, thus providing a welcome alternative to diners who wish to eat light.

Iskender Kebap

This came highly recommended by the wait staff when we probed what is their specialty.  Iskender Kebap is a famous traditional dish from Turkish Cuisine.  Grilled lamb sliced very thinly layered atop diced bread carefully crammed like a base.  The meat was grilled with its natural juices still very intact keeping the flavor rankling inside, titling with hints of mild tomato sauce and butter.

Chicken Kebab Pasta

When Spanx paints a picture of how good a dish is, most of the time I can feel like I can already taste it.  You know how normal ladies get goosebumps over scary movies (apparently I don’t get scared that easily growing up with all VHS tapes of horror movies  My skin prickles when my exhilaration over food rises.
